The Butlers Passage Fiasco

 

This small alleyway from the Walsall bus station to Park Street, had £750,000 spent on it by Walsall Council in a complete overhaul. Most people in the town considered it a waste of money. To date no one from the council has been able to explain where this money was spent? A lick of paint and some block paving would not cost this much but thats all that was done. Surely a Government Auditor should have picked this up somewhere, im sure someone is sitting somewhere with a very healthy bank balance..
